Kat Klockow is an indie comic artist/ writer and is the creator of the graphic novel series Jinxed, Spiritus Maximus, and Miss Grey. She is also the artist on the upcoming graphic novel series, Zombio: A Space Adventure, set for Feburary 2018, which she is adapting from stories husband Mike wrote when he was nine years old. Kat grew up on a steady diet of Calvin and Hobbs with an infusion of manga while living in Japan, her artwork marries the best of both world’s styles in sequential art.

Besides creating comics, Kat runs how-to-draw comics/manga workshops at conventions and libraries around New England and the Midwest. She also hosts the Panel Power Podcast (available on Soundcloud and iTunes) with her friend and fellow animation artist, Rachel Maquire.

Kat is also a huge paranormal enthusiast and has written two book about haunted history in Indiana and Ohio, and is a former radio show host of the The Paranormal View .  Her books are Haunted Hoosier Halls: Indiana University, and  Ohio’s Haunted CrimeBoth books are published through Schiffer Publishing and can be found on Amazon.com. Kat was also was the historian and consultant for the 2010 documentary Ghost Stories 4, which focused on invesigating the H.H. Holmes house in Indianapolis, Indiana and the former Black Moon Manor in Mount Comfort, Indiana..
