Eighty years ago, the Shadow War eradicated the human species from the face of the Earth. Those left after the War to rebuild were the Monstra; the secret community of legendary creatures such as vampires, werewolves, mermaids. Decades later, society is once again functioning with a new population,whose past time is looking for the ghosts of late humans, known as spiritus.

Two such young legend explorers are Sawyer, a 250+ year old vampire who fought in the Shadow War and Koh Myung-Soo (aka Munny) a werewolf who is determined to find “ghosts” of the Earth’s past. One day while out exploring an abandoned asylum, they find the greatest of legendary creatures- a human girl.

Spiritus Maximus will return to Line Webtoon Friday September 13th, 2019.
